Returns & Refunds Policy
Real Estate Soup
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Real Estate Soup sells digital products only — downloadable files, templates, and similar electronic goods. Because these are delivered electronically and can be downloaded, copied, and used immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable once the product has been delivered, downloaded, or accessed. There is no physical item to return.
That said, I run this business on communication and feedback. If something isn’t right, please reach out — I’d much rather hear from you and make it right than leave you unhappy. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.
Exceptions
I want you to be happy with what you buy, and I’m happy to be flexible. Just email me and tell me what went wrong — I read every message and I’ll work with you to find a fair solution. I’ll review any refund or replacement request, and I’ll always look favorably on cases like these:
• The file is faulty — it’s corrupted, won’t download, or won’t open, and I can’t provide a working replacement.
• Duplicate or incorrect charge — you were billed more than once for the same item, or charged the wrong amount.
• Materially not as described — the product is substantially different from its description on the product page.
• Something else entirely — if your situation isn’t on this list but you feel you’ve been treated unfairly, tell me anyway. I’d rather talk it through than hide behind a policy.
To get in touch, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with your order number and a short description of the problem. A screenshot helps if you have one. I aim to respond within a few business days and to sort out genuine issues promptly.
What Is Not Covered
To keep things fair for everyone, refunds generally aren’t available in these situations — though you’re always welcome to reach out if you think yours is different:
• Change of mind after the product has been delivered, downloaded, or accessed.
• Not reading the product description before buying.
• Lack of the software, skills, or hardware needed to use the product, where the product itself works as described.
• Buyer’s remorse on correctly delivered, as-described products.
Your Statutory Rights (UK & EU Customers)
Under UK and EU consumer law you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. For digital content, this right does not apply once download or access has begun, provided you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel. You give this consent at checkout before your purchase is completed. Where the right does still apply (for example, if access has not yet begun), you may cancel within 14 days by emailing me. Nothing in this policy affects your mandatory statutory rights, including rights regarding faulty or misdescribed digital content.
Chargebacks
Please contact me first if you have a problem — most issues are resolved quickly by email, and I would rather fix it directly. Filing a chargeback or PayPal dispute on a valid, delivered purchase without contacting me is treated as a breach of this policy. I keep delivery, download, and access records and will submit them as evidence in any dispute. I may also suspend access to purchased products and refuse future sales to accounts that file disputes in bad faith.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe and PayPal, which are handled under their own terms and policies.
I encourage you to review those as well. I do not store your full card details. Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
